Tukra Tukra is about the adventure of an interplanetary space-traveling cube landing on a distant planet of triangles. The film showcases the cube’s initial alienation, and its struggle to fit in with the triangles. It could be seen as a metaphor for the real life situation of people coming to new countries and struggling to fit in. This film is a result of my own personal experiences of migrating to Canada from Korea, but is only loosely based around my experiences. More than a social commentary, the film is intended to entertain, and is aimed at a wide audience.
