The Secret of Cats is a representation of my desire to escape from the real world. The film is about a girl who does not grow up like other people. The girl is a reflection of me. I always felt that I could not grow up like normal people and when I tried to act like an adult, I was not happy. I wanted to remain a child. However, I realized that I would have to grow up despite my desire to avoid adulthood. When I see cats, I feel like I want to be one too, so that I do not have to grow up. I put my hopes of remaining a child into my film, by transforming a girl into a cat.
