This short film is inspired and derived from the fast-paced life of our city of Vancouver, BC. It depicts the notion of addiction, more specifically, the life of a simple and lazy man who is unplugged from his own world because of his fixation on needing to consume excess amounts of coffee. The day seems like any other, with this man’s usual and mundane habitual coffee-drinking routine. But things in the kitchen seem to not go his way. Deprived of sleep and desperately longing for his next fix of caffeine-enriched coffee, this man’s addictive greed for his next hot cup becomes his demise.
