22˝× 22˝, Poster Prints
So we started to explore nothing. What was it? Where was it? It turns out that there is no global nothing; it is different to everyone - what is nothing to one person is something to another. But this collaborative effort with Justin Cunanan attempted to find it. On twelve large-format prints, mounted on wooden frames, we depicted our nothing(ness) in both humanistic and systematic forms through expressive yet systematic information design. The goal was to create factually-based, data-driven designs that could evoke feeling. These examples are nothing as we sense them: through sight, taste, audition, touch, smell, and perception.
