3d installation hexagon display 6 matte boards (40˝× 9˝each) with hidden compartments hiding 9 clues (2.75˝× 2.75˝)
Analyzing urbanism in our communities enticed us to collaboratively search for unique attributes that exemplify the historic Steveston Village, located in Richmond, BC. In our investigations, we collected a range of data that were metaphorically valued as ‘treasures’ to this community. The main thesis prompted for a strategy that resolves how a diverse collection of data can be presented into an interactive experience for the audience. The result is a 3d installation display that houses a treasure-hunt game concept (based on clues) that communicates educational facts about the urbanism aspects of the Steveston Village. In collaboration with Vania Musa.
