Damian and Ende is a film about a young man whose childhood friend lives in a forest. Damian has grown up but Ende remains, although grown, emotionally a child, wanting only to pass the time playing and having adventures with his friend. Damian must reconcile this friendship with his desire to move on and leave Ende and the forest behind. As a filmmaker I am interested in how cinematography, music, sound design, and even the textures of film and video can be used to signify a meaning that is both separate from and in harmony with a story.
