I’ve coined the term “COABC” to describe people who came of age before computers. As a socially-engaged artist, I work with seniors who want help to be able to make creative use of new communications media, such as digital cameras. In 2006, I started a blog, aimed at a trans-generational audience of people who are both comfortable with the Internet and who are also interested in the relationship between the elderly and rapidly changing technology. Through illustrated articles, videos, humour, and a collection of related videos and links, I examine the geriatric experience of the digital divide. Try out www.cameofagebeforecomputers.blogspot.com
