The Melancholy of George is a fantastical representation of one man’s warped journey into madness. Gentle-natured George has drifted into a compulsive life where he records his daily routines and thoughts. As his world slowly consumes him, he develops a strange affliction that causes him to vomit out his frustrations in the form of words. Searching for some sanity, George soon undertakes a journey of hope and faith. This film meshes the use of visual metaphors and sound to craft, not only a story to be viewed, but also a mental state to be experienced.
