Robert James is a short documentary that explores life in the small factory town of Trail, British Columbia. This mixed media film deals with various memories of my hometown, with a focus on my father’s experiences growing up and working in the area. Long and meditative landscape pans allow viewers to become situated into the space, with a cyclical structure from the past into the present, from fall into spring.
