First Man on the Sun demands imagination, and a capacity for detachment from everyday life. A biosphere has been planted — grown and cultivated aboard a solar ship on a journey to the sun. Several scientists, engineers and other specialists have been chosen to intimately study the symbiosis between our planet and the sun. Although scientific in origin, the journey soon becomes a test of mind—each person striving to find inner peace in outer space. In finding themselves, they lose each other. The story revolves around a love quadrangle in the frozen lattices of space. Love, drama and tragedy unfold between four central characters as secrecy, deceit and mental decay takes their toll.
