Ongoing themes of corporeality, temporality, investigation, and the unconscious have become central to my visual language and artistic practice. Daydreambeliever investigates the body’s absence, mimicking self-surveillance from an investigative point of view. Its components include a mystery script, (a detournment of 60s pop lyrics), a mystery bed, and a slide show of bed images, intermittently showing magnified, green, digital clock numerals. A suspenseful soundtrack plays throughout. Clues are revealed within the work through viewer interaction.
