While studying at the Pforzheim Huch Schule in Pforzheim, Germany, I experienced many mistranslations from one language to the next, both in observation and in personal conversation. In the moment these mistakes were seemingly innocent, but upon reflection they became evidently political. By taking these mistranslations out of their spoken state into a visual state, they no longer exist as innocent mistakes and become powerful political statements.
