These envelopes have been installed all over Vancouver in community and fitness centers, galleries, coffee shops, libraries, parks and schools. I am collecting words that people do not like in an attempt to explore how language is used to explain and/or limit ideas about self and individual experience. This ties to the larger implications of Policy, communication and methods of collecting data to generate statistics. The words displayed in the Grad Show are a small part of the larger ongoing project exploring these themes.
