These magazine covers were designed to be part of a larger multimedia project that explores a future where the dead really do come back to life. Through print, web, and finally a mockumentary film, a more human face is put to the exploitation of our natural resources. Science has no explanation as to why the dead have come back but, among other things, they are providing us with test subjects, free labour, and even a replacement for oil.
