” There is no road to take, no line just a warm breath of lightning awakening my numb senses in a suspended moment in time” - Celia Enestrom
As stated in the poem above, my work intends to raise a question about the imbalance of choice and opportunity by framing a moment in time through the recollection of scraps of memory. I am interested in recreating the in-between spaces found in the process of creation which brings together past and present, public and private, art and artist . My installations, paintings and sculptures issue from frustration, stagnation and entrapment. All carry a repetition of aesthetical tension that mimics an encounter with a dead end but also unveils a hint of escape.
