Utilitarian objects are the objects surrounding us that measure their value in terms of usefulness. How we interact with these objects and how we are affected by this interaction is the focus of my studies. Ceramics are central in many, if not the majority of our everyday experiences. These objects are a staple in the creation and development of the rituals felt in our lives, as well as the emotional heightening of these specific experiences. How we remember instances is through the details that surround them and how we experience life is through the objects that honor them.
