I have been investigating the relationship between language and images. Since my experience of being lost in translation between Japanese and English, I have discovered that language can be an extremely powerful type of knowledge. For example, language can let us understand the reality that we are facing. By experiencing mistranslation within the human connection, I recognize that language is also about the relationship between illusion and reality.
