The balance and harmony, poise and contrast in each of the individual forms — as well as in the interplay among each form — are important keys to creating energy for my works. I am very captivated by creating a piece that evokes mystery through its unique form with cavities or hollowness. I am also captivated with the relationships among its interior, exterior, and surfaces; lightness/darkness, visible/invisible, perfection/imperfection, and consciousness/unconsciousness. With a powerful formal language, they present themselves as sculptural objects as well as special bodies.
