Structure and Sensibility reveals that the “I” articulated by the paint applied to the canvas interplays within the different, yet co-existing spaces. My predilection for playing with structure in this painting lets me observe how I sense the space surrounding me and how everything combines in synthesis. I capture where I am standing within the social and cultural realms and, from there, I am able to explore where I belong.
